Turbocharger Policy

Warranty is limited solely to the original purchaser for a period of twelve (12) months from date on invoice.

Warranty is limited solely to defect in material or workmanship.

Any failure due to defect in material or workmanship discovered within the twelve (12) months warranty period must be reported to Torqued Up by the purchaser and returned within the warranty period as stated above.

In order to warrant a turbo or workmanship, the product shall be returned to Torqued Up for inspection in the “as is” condition (i.e. not cleaned, disassembled or otherwise altered), along with a copy of the original invoice. 

Some instances require the part or turbocharger to be returned to the manufacturer (e.g. Garrett) for inspection. This process can require approximately 10 business days. 

The cost of freight for return of the item(s) to Torqued Up are the responsibility of the purchaser. Return cost of the item(s) to the purchaser is the responsibility of the purchaser or Torqued Up subject to the inspection report. 

If Torqued Up, the manufacturer, or a qualified turbocharger specialist determines through inspection that the product and/or workmanship are indeed defective, Torqued Up will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or refund the cost of the component(s) and workmanship up to the maximum value listed on the original invoice, including any freight costs borne by the buyer.

Damage to the products during transport, abuse or misuse, improper installation, installation by a non-qualified mechanic, lack of service, unauthorized modifications, and use for competition purposes are all excluded from the limited warranty.

This warranty is limited to the part, turbocharger or workmanship only as per Torqued Up invoice, and does not include any parts or components associated with, attached, or connected to the turbocharger unit. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind.
